July 1, 2024

We are hiring several scouts to source candidates working in the Global South for our Climate Breakthrough Award program. We are particularly interested in scouts with strong networks in Latin America, Sub Saharan Africa, and the Middle East/North Africa regions, but are open to scouts with other Global South connections.

What’s a scout? To identify promising candidates, we leverage a powerful global network of partners, including scouts. Scouts reach out to their networks about the Climate Breakthrough Award program, look for exceptional social innovators, conduct initial vetting, and then submit nominations to Climate Breakthrough’s selection team for further assessment.

Our scouts ideally have strong connections to the climate NGO community in their country or region and have a keen understanding of potential gaps and areas for social innovation. Click here to see a comprehensive overview of the role.

We are hoping to contract multiple scouts by August 2024. If you qualify or know of someone who fit the descriptions, please submit this interest form by July 31.

Our team will review your application and may invite you to a short interview.
